June Deist received her BA from Miami University in Ohio and initially worked as a graphic design artist and fashion illustrator. She exhibited widely and with success during the 1950's and 1960's and was the recipient of numerous prizes and juried awards. A member of the New York Watercolor Association, she was also the first woman admitted to the Cincinnati Men's Art Club. We are pleased to offer this bright and unfaded Caribbean landscape showing a view of downtown Nassau.
