Betty Corson Ellis studied at Syracuse University and with numerous private teachers. She exhibited widely and with success including at the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts, the Philadelphia Watercolor Club and at the Syracuse Museum of Fine Art. Ellis's work is held in the permanent collection of the Syracuse Museum Fine Art. She is listed in Who Was Who in American Art, Malletts Index of Artists and other relevant art reference works.
