A view of San Francisco showing the bay dotted with sailing boats, Coit Tower in the foreground with the Golden Gate bridge emerging from distant fog. Signed lower right "Jack Laycox'"(American, 1921-1984), a listed California artist. Titled on verso 'Distant Regatta' and painted circa 1975. A member of the American Watercolor Society and the Society of Western Artists, Laycox exhibited both nationally and internationally and was the winner of numerous awards. We are pleased to offer this lyrical Impressionist view of San Francisco.
